Woah... before I know it.... the following took place from Dec 22 to Mar 18 2007.
Dec 22, Went to colorado... and had a hell of a time skiiing, experiencing snow fall, have a white Christmas..... more importantly... above all.... on the fateful night on Dec 24, 2005... in a small room in Gerogetown, Colorado.... I was given the utmost honor of trading my singlehood to engagedhood. This, in itself deserves 5 pages long of details, and I should not discredit it by mentioning it as part of my update. I will provide a full length recollection in the near future (define near...)
Spent New Year's eve in New Orleans... certainly ranked as one of the most happening count downs I have had... especially sweet when 365 days ago.... it was almost a non-event in Houston.
Crazy place... crazy fun... and more crazy was my very reliable Diamante broke down in one of the most undesirable place southwest of the US, a sleezy neighbourhood in New Orleans. Thank God... somehow things changed... and we got back in one piece.....
Busy season came and almost knocked me out cold...... this has been a really busy "busy season". I was definitely stretched, mentally and professionally.... add numerous working weekends, and a super rush trip to Orlando, Florida's Disneyland in the midst of this insane schedule... you have the perfect recipe for a rush rush January.
Feb came in a wink.... before I know it... a good part of the busy season is gone. Deadline came, was missed and left.... Co-workers became friends... it's amazing how things can change... the team i worked with bonded so well, that they started missing each other after we rolled off the engagement.
Was supposed to be in rock cold Chicago... somehow God knows me well... that I cant take the cold that he unexpectedly sent to the city. I got off the trip there, and got on one of the most satisfying engagement, professionally, ever. This deserves extended mention as well.
Somehow... a group of morons still decided to pay money to suffer the cold... they left the mild weathered houston to brave the snowfall in the windy city.... what a perfect combination for disaster... but fear not... with several pple who are well trained to self entertained, we had a great trip. I changed my perspective of this windy city from a mere cold (literally) place... to a cold place with a wonderful urban planning. A certain choice to live in, if not for the weather...
That was a quick one.... and trust me... time went by equally fast... if not faster than this...
And ask me why am I writing this.... is it because I am guilty... i am more free... I have the "feeling" again... or I reacted because someone told me to write more......
The answer is... none of the above..... it's simply because... blogging is more interesting than studying...
